Celebrating the Bicentennial Of the United States, American Freedom Train (AFT) display car #41 is carrying the Freedom Bell and Lunar Rover at Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 15, 1975. The interior of this specially designed railroad car was lighted to allow onlookers to see inside as the train passed through their towns at night. The AFT display car is featured on this TRP Transportation Series Postcard. This is Volume 3 No. 12. This postcard is extremely sharp and brilliant – the scan does not do this beautiful card justice!
